Capgemini UK appoints WE UK
We get what we invest in. The time we spend on challenging and worthwhile opportunities comes back, with interest. (Seth Godin)
For example, if you spend your time understanding the challenges facing business decision makers and their journey to digital transformation, you'll become an expert on the things that matter most to them.
The difference between who WE Communications is now and who WE Communications was five years ago is largely due to how we’ve spent our time along the way – and for us, it’s been primarily on two things:
- Our people and collaborative culture
- Making insights a priority from strategy to execution - and demonstrating how that delivers business impact for our clients
We believe these efforts have really paid off – most notably with our latest new business win, which sees WE appointed as the UK communications agency for Capgemini UK. A global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing services, Capgemini UK delivers tailored business, technology and digital solutions to clients across the world, enabling them to continue innovating and remain competitive in industries undergoing digital disruption. Working across the UK business, WE’s primary focus will be storytelling, media relations and content creation.
The pitch process was a reflection of both our insight-led approach and collaborative culture, an effort that pulled in colleagues beyond the core team across an intense period of cooperation. Fortunately, the hard work paid off. Capgemini UK highlighted our confidence and rapport as a team as one of the key reasons for selecting WE.
“WE Communications demonstrated a hunger for our business and a strong understanding of our target audience in the UK. Beyond that, we believe they are the agency that will most challenge our thinking, enabling us to continue to evolve and succeed with our communications programme,” said Magda Bulska, UK PR Manager.
Outside of day-to-day media activity, we’ll also be working on Capgemini UK’s cross-year campaign with IMRG, publishing the ‘IMRG Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index’ and related stories each month, with the scope for other projects to be added as the year progresses.
Activity officially began on 1st May, though we’ve already been engaging with executives and planning for May announcements last month. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have been chosen, and will be working closely with Capgemini UK every day to build a communications programme that breaks new ground, pushes their approach and delivers outstanding results.
