Avian WE Expands Executive Leadership Roles to Fuel Continued Market Growth
New Responsibilities Reflect the Agency's Growth and Business Trajectory
May 11, 2023 – Avian WE, a leading integrated communications agency and an integral part of WE Communications, today announced new leadership appointments that showcase the company’s commitment to expansion and future growth.
“India has experienced nearly 25% growth over the past year and represents one of WE’s fastest-growing and highest-performing markets,” said Kass Sells, WE’s Global Chief Operating Officer and President of International. “Nitin Mantri and I are pleased to give our strongest leaders new opportunities to grow and lead their teams and clients in India and across the region.”
Four leaders have been promoted to accelerate those growth opportunities with existing and new clients, cementing the agency’s leadership in-market and across the APAC region:
Nikhil Khanna’s role as Executive Chair, India, has been expanded to include new responsibilities. Khanna will provide senior-level counsel to Avian WE and Chase India clients and agency leadership, as well as lead a newly created internal advisory board that spans WE’s APAC and EMEA regions and markets. He will collaborate closely with the India, APAC, EMEA and international leadership teams to drive agency growth, efficiency and profitability.
Neha Mehrotra has been promoted to Managing Director, Avian WE. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all of Avian WE’s operations in India with a focus on three main areas: office leadership, client leadership and market leadership.
Manash Neog has been promoted to Managing Director, Chase APAC. Neog will continue to oversee Chase’s operations in India and drive its expansion into Southeast Asia, specifically Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.
Girish Huria has been promoted to Head of Growth, APAC. Huria will be responsible for driving growth across WE’s multiple operations in the APAC region (Avian WE, Chase India, WATATAWA and WE Singapore and Australia).
Khanna will report to Sells, and Mehrotra, Neog and Huria will report to Nitin Mantri, Regional Executive Managing Director, APAC, and Avian WE Group CEO. The changes are effective immediately but will include a transition period through June 30.
The above appointments come close on the heels of Mantri’s elevation to Regional Executive Managing Director, APAC. Mantri, who continues to be Avian WE Group CEO, now oversees businesses in Avian WE, Chase India, WE company WATATAWA and the markets in Singapore and Australia.
