As WE Australia’s Head of Health, Emma David delivers engaging media and integrated campaigns that connect people with leading health brands that change and save lives. Emma approaches communication challenges with a combination of specialist health knowledge and creative, strategic thinking. She leads a team that lives and breathes healthcare in order to deliver inspiring campaigns for clients.  

Throughout her career, Emma has launched innovative medicines that have revolutionised patient care, communicated about major breakthroughs in science, and driven campaigns offering education to the public about better ways to manage health issues. With experience working in Europe and Australia at agencies such as Health Haus Communications and Reynolds-MacKenzie Public Relations Group, Emma has worked with both local and global clients across disease areas. These clients include Bayer, ViiV Healthcare, Novo Nordisk, Janssen, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Medtronic and others. At WE, Emma manages the WE Sydney internship program and has presented at universities about the future of the PR industry. She also leads pro bono activity for the charity Sarz Sanctuary, which is dedicated to supporting victims of traumatic grief.  

Living on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Emma enjoys spending time by the sea and loves going to live music events.
