Senior Vice President, Delivery Operations and PMO
As senior vice president of Delivery Operations and PMO, Griffin is responsible for bringing teams together, building delivery processes, and creating environments that allow teams to build award-winning work that meets their clients' business objectives. To put it another way, he manages the details, brings consistent alignment between teams and stakeholders, and ensures all effort is going toward activities that have the biggest impact.
Griffin has spent over a decade building project management offices across North America. He has customized a unique delivery methodology, taking the best of Agile, Kanban, Scrum and Waterfall, that drives integration and collaboration across internal, partner and client teams. He believes that culture influences creativity, iteration leads to innovation, and honesty and transparency are requirements, not "nice to haves." And, ultimately, he believes everything should be approached with the right spirit: If you are not having fun, change it or get out of the game.
Before joining WE in 2018, Griffin was vice president of Delivery at POSSIBLE and served on the Wunderman North America Project Management and Operations Leadership Team. While working as interim CFO at POSSIBLE Seattle, he developed a new passion for finance, and created processes to bring a greater connection between the client work and the business. Along his journey, Griffin led business transformation and change management initiatives for Lenovo and ConEdison, built Coca-Cola's first in-house social media center, formed one of Microsoft's first global co-creation models for Visual Studio, and supported product launches for Office, Windows, Surface, Xbox and Skype across .com and social.
When Griffin isn’t working on a spreadsheet or in PowerPoint, you will find him with his wife and two children at a park in Edmonds or in his garden at home with a beer. As a child of the 80s, Griffin hasn’t been able to relinquish his passion for the Goonies, George Michael and Zelda. If you don’t want to talk delivery methodologies, finance and operations, he is more than open to sharing a microbrew and talking John Hughes films and Fletch.
