Konajilo Luseni Barrasso is WE Communications’ executive vice president of Technology. In this role, Barrasso leads integrated marketing campaigns that build top-tier brands across traditional and digital platforms. Working directly with CEOs and other C-suite executives, Barrasso guides leaders through the processes of articulating brand purpose and amplifying their voices as thought leaders. With a specialty in global technology and professional services firms, including Alteryx and Capgemini, North America, Barrasso translates complex concepts into compelling messaging that speaks to a broad audience. One of the co-founders of WE’s employee resource group (ERG) practice, Barrasso also partners with WE employees to enhance their sense of purpose, belonging and overall happiness.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Barrasso was formerly the director of external communications at A.T. Kearney, where she led global campaigns and executive visibility support. Before that, Barrasso served as the global media relations lead for Booz Allen Hamilton and Booz & Company, including its vertical market practices, for nine years. Her work enabled both firms to establish thought leadership public relations franchises that garnered year over year feature placements in publications including The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Economist and Bloomberg Businessweek.
Barrasso has a deep love of the arts and a background in performing. As a child, she was a classical music singer; she later became a dancer who owned and ran a studio. She’s now a mother of two children, both on the spectrum, and is a passionate advocate for special needs children in education.
